ALGONTEX Contagious Agalactia

Indications:
Inactivated vaccine against contagious agalactia in sheep and goats caused by Mycoplasma agalactiae.
Composition:
Each dose of vaccine contains an antigen concentration (≥ 5x10⁸ CFU) to induce a growth inhibition diameter of Mycoplasma agalactiae strain N-262, inactivated ≥ 2mm. Algontex is an emulsion for injection (oil excipient).
Target Species:
Sheep and goats.
Packaging:
Vials of 100 ml and 250 ml.
Administration and Dosage:
Dose: 2 ml.
Administration: Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.

Vaccination Program:
Primary vaccination: 2 doses of vaccine with an interval of 2 weeks between them. Vaccinate young animals from 3 months of age.
Revaccination: A single boosting dose at six-monthly intervals. in breeding season, is advisable to vaccinate pregnant females 30 to 60 days before parturition.
