Each dose of vaccine contains an antigen concentration (≥ 5x108 CFU) to induce a growth inhibition diameter of Mycoplasma agalactiae strain N-262, inactivated ≥ 2mm. Algontex is an emulsion for injection (oil excipient).
Sheep and goats.
Vials of 100 ml and 250 ml.
Dose 2 ml.
Administration Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.
Primary vaccination 2 doses of vaccine with an
interval of 2 weeks between them. Vaccinate
young animals from 3 months of age.
RevaccinationA single boosting dose at
six-monthly intervals. in breeding season, is
advisable to vaccinate pregnant females 30 to 60
days before parturition.
